Our purpose is simple yet meaningful: to raise and harvest wholesome food for our table and to provide healthy livestock for others who value the same care and quality. Together, as a family, we tend the pastures and animals with intention, knowing that this farm is both our heritage and our future.

We’re a small family learning the land together. Rachel keeps the farm running day to day - garden, animals, and all. Andrew pitches in when he’s not working as a graphic designer, and our son Senate captures farm life through his camera lens. We traded our Florida home for this patch of earth, and we’re grateful every day to be living closer to the land.

A combination of two historic homes dating back to 1790 and 1860, this unique 33-acre farm sits atop a ridgeline that overlooks the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The home originally held several generations in Greenville, VA until it was repurposed as a barn for turkeys and bees. Abandoned shortly after, the structure was set to be shipped to Ireland as a representation of the American frontier until an untimely storm knocked down the adjoining silo.

In 1995, a local couple sought out to repurpose this house on a property overlooking the George Washington & Jefferson National Forests. Rebuilding the home, log by log, and bringing in other local lumber - they meticulously blended two centuries of architecture into what it is today.

As the years progressed, additions were made, but the heart of the homestead has remained intact and true to its origins.`
